Hawá is a human rights and sustainable fashion advocate and professional.
Currently Hawá is apart of the Corporate Social Responsibility team at AMG Companies, where she implements social compliance requirements for U.S. based retailers: Target, Reebok, Champion, Walmart, Sam's Club and Costco, working in supply chains to ensure there is no forced labor or critical safety hazards in the factory.
For three years Hawá was the Supervisor of Global Responsible Sourcing and Trade Compliance at Neiman Marcus Group. At NMG Hawá specialized in human rights due diligence and global supply chain compliance.
Hawá holds a Master of Arts degree in global affairs with a concentration in international security from Rice University’s Baker Institute For Public Policy.
When Hawá is not thinking about fashion, she can be found hunting for her next thrifted find, traveling or practicing inversions at aerial yoga.
